Week of Feb. 22-26

Welcome back!  I hope you all had a restful week off.  I enjoyed the time with my family and learned some new things at Teacher's Convention. 


Curriculum:
Math - starting our adventure in Fractions!
Science - beginning a new unit - Waste in Our World
Social - finishing up the Canadian Shield Region and then going on a stay-cation to learn about the Grassland Region.
LA - Spelling - week 10
      - Writing - we will start on a new project...a persuasive essay

• Assembly at 12:45 p.m. in the gym
• Family Fun Night in the Gym - 6 - 7:15 p.m.

Wednesday

• Pink Shirt Day

Thursday

• Indy 500 - please bring a water bottle!
• Senior Choir at lunch

Friday

• Frolicking Friday - please dress for the weather!
